Contribute research

Coverage depends on people who read national law and university rules in the original language. No coding needed.

Ways to contribute

Add a source

Record an official law, statute or procedure once, with a stable ID.

Propose a country finding

Assess national rules against the rubric, citing the article.

How

Contribute without editing code

  1. Choose the kind of contribution above and open its guide or structured GitHub form.
  2. Use a GitHub account or a pseudonymous account. If you are not comfortable editing files, open the relevant issue form and a maintainer can turn it into a pull request.
  3. Every proposal stays provisional until the evidence and method checks are complete.

GitHub submissions are public. Include only public documents—never personal data, names, allegations or case details. Contribute evidence, not accusations.

Workflow

Research workflow

  1. Source found (done)
  2. Source recorded (done)
  3. Proposed interpretation and score (done)
  4. Methodology check (done)
  5. Published as provisional Provisional Pilot is here
  6. Human second review (not yet reached)
  7. Verified (not yet reached)

A search result never becomes a public score directly.

What a research pull request contains
  • jurisdiction, and institution if relevant;
  • safeguard ID (S01–S12) and proposed result;
  • evidence summary and exact source reference (article, section, page);
  • rationale against the rubric;
  • review date and methodology version;
  • contributor identity or a pseudonymous contributor ID.

Automated validation runs on every pull request, and a PR cannot be merged until it passes.
